What’s up with the local church?
Bible Text: Ephesians 3:10-11 | Preacher: Pastor Jon Nelson | Series: Where do I belong?
“Where do I belong?” is our new sermon series as we are walking through the book of Ephesians. It also is a question of balancing the roles of being a follower of Jesus while at the same time the everyday life of work and home. Ephesians gives us deeply practical advice on church, marriage, parenting, forgiveness and much more all while exalting the sovereignty of God. The advice is rooted deeply in how our great God loves us in the same way.
This week we walk through Ephesians 3:10 – 11 where we talk about the beauty of the local church. In this passage the Apostle Paul deals with a real fundamental issue for all of us. He gives us three compelling reasons why all of us need to be part of this local body he calls the church.
Our Big Idea for this week was “How do you view the church?”
