The Arrival of the King
Bible Text: Matthew 21:1 – 11 | Preacher: Pastor Jon Nelson | Series: Risen (Easter 2016)
Easter is the time where we look back as believers at the defining moment in our history where Jesus conquered death by rising from it. It is what allows us today to have personal relationships with God through the nailing of sin to the cross and the belief that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of us all.
Let us, as the body of Christ, ask the Spirit with whom might we be led to celebrate this amazing day and invite them to join us.
This week we walk through Matthew 21:1 – 11 where we take a look at the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem is the beginning of what is called the Passion Week.
Our Big Idea for this week was “God never made a promise that was too good to be true.”
