Leaving Empty-Hearted

Easter is the time where we look back as believers at the defining moment in our history where Jesus conquered death by rising from it. It is what allows us today to have personal relationships with God through the nailing of sin to the cross and the belief that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of us all.
Let us, as the body of Christ, ask the Spirit with whom might we be led to celebrate this amazing day and invite them to join us.
This week we walk through John 20:1 – 18 where we take a look at the reactions of John, Peter and Mary Magdalene as they try to figure out the mysterious occurrence that had happened that day. That’s the same thing that you must decide. But the question is how are you going to respond to that empty tomb. How is it going to affect your life?
Our Big Idea for this week was “Do not leave [the empty tomb] empty-hearted”
